Peter is well known on the Landlord & Property speaking circuit offering his advice and guidance to UK landlords, as well as his work in lobbying local government on major issues like Section 21, The Renters Rights Bill and much more. No wonder then, that Peter’s experience in running a landlord association for over 2o years has provided him with an invaluable knowledge base and supportive contacts within the property sector.
As a landlord, Peter has seen all sides of managing rental properties from being the obligatory tenant in his teens, through to managing his, and other people’s rental properties. Peter is well placed to offer you help with your growing property business and how to avoid the legal pitfalls that sadly adorn this busy landlord industry.

Lisa Williamson

Lisa has over thirty years’ experience in the property industry and is an expert in the law for lettings, property management and inventory management.
Lisa is a qualified adjudicator and a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, Lisa’s extensive experience includes providing letting agent and landlord training and adjudication services for a leading nil deposit tenancy scheme and is an examination moderator for ARLA Propertymark.
Lisa also sits on the Property Redress’s member panel and is the Senior Partner at Independent Adjudication Services, which provides impartial, end of tenancy dispute resolution for landlords and tenants.

Lori Thompson

Lori is an experienced Anti Money Laundering (AML) compliance professional with more than twenty-five years’ experience in the property industry. Over that time, she has been at the forefront of the introduction of anti-money laundering procedures within the landlord and letting agent sectors and has been responsible for implementing a number of AML compliance departments in some of London’s most high-profile lettings agencies, as well as providing AML compliance training within the sector.
Her extensive knowledge in this area has enabled clients to develop an organisational mindset that embeds statutory AML compliance processes within their organisational culture, leading to reduction of corporate risk that ensures brand reputation is maintained.
Lori plays a pivotal role in assisting B-informed in their landlord advisory services and delivery of AML training.

Maz Iqbal

Maz Iqbal is a trusted barrister and accredited mediator with over 20 years of experience in law and dispute resolution, known for helping people resolve conflicts quickly, fairly and with minimum stress. His calm, practical approach has made him a go-to expert in property and tenancy-related disputes—including those involving Nil Deposit Schemes, tenancy deposits, rent arrears, and maintenance issues.
Maz has adjudicated over 2,000 landlord and tenant disputes, many of them complex. His background as a director in multiple property companies, combined with hands-on legal experience, gives him a rare understanding of both sides of the table. He doesn’t just know the law—he understands the real-world pressures that landlords, tenants, and agents face every day.
